I asked the company and they said it had the correct amount for ducklingsUnless it says for ducklings on the bag it probably doesn't
This one is good, it has 55 ppm (55 mg per kilogram)
Good to know, thanks!I asked the company and they said it had the correct amount for ducklings
Edit: I wouldn't suggest it unless I knew it had the correct amount.
True, but most ducklings will be fine if they are fed a feed that contains 55 mg niacin per 1 kg.Again all the products I have suggested have the correct amount of Niacin. As @EggSighted4Life said that doesn't necessarily mean they won't need extra anyway.
What type of feed should I be giving my 3 week old ducklings?
That's a good one too!
Honestly what does it hurt to warn people that they might need it?True, but most ducklings will be fine if they are fed a feed that contains 55 mg niacin per 1 kg.
No harm at all, and it's true that some ducks might need as much as 70 mg niacin per kg of feed.Honestly what does it hurt to warn people that they might need it?
True, I just got the feeling that this OP might not want the hassle of adding niacin.Every duckling is different and it doesn't hurt to have a niacin supplement on hand in case it's needed
