Hello, so I think a little chick of mine came down with coccidiosis because it’s been popping out blood and it seems less active and with less appetite than the others. So I went ahead and ordered some CORID (amprolium) 20% soluble solution, I’ve looked at the instructions but I can’t wrap my head around how much I should give my 3 week old chicks. The description says this: Treatment: mix 10 oz. with 125 gallons water, and offer as the only water source for 5 days. Prevention: mix 10 oz. with 250 gallons water and offer as the only water source for 21 days. Treatment should be on a herd basis only; when one or more calves show signs of coccidiosis, it is likely that the rest of the group has been exposed and all calves in the group should be treated. So much for a gallon of this stuff? I will be giving it to all of my little chicks (they’re about 8 little chicks)

Here's the instructions for Poultry.

Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.
