Help Me Design the INTERIOR of My Chicken Shed!!!

Cutting holes is easy, lay out the hole, then drill a small hole in each corner then take a saber saw and cut it out. You will then need to reinforce the edges of the hole with some aluminum angle. If you look at the pictures attached you will see that I mounted the nest boxes to a piece of treated ply wood which I bolted to the steel wall supports. use 1/4 or 3/8 bolts with fender washers, Do not over tighten, You do not want to compress the wall . The cage wall I also anchored to the wall and ceiling supports. If you need more in info I will try to get some pictures of what you do not understand. Happy trails

If you look at the picture of the pop door in the original group of pictures you can see that I reinforced the hole with plywood and aluminum angle.

We started on the shed this afternoon around 1:00. It's now 5:00...we're beat (with the heat and all)...and called it a day. My neighbor friend is coming over tomorrow afternoon to finish it off. Today we build the wood foundation and plywood subfloor, and erected all the walls and screwed them down...no wind today so we should be alright. After much frustration we got the roof truss assembly put together....yikes!!

Again...thank you so very much for pics and advice, etc....!!!!

UPDATE: We started Thursday afternoon, got the foundation floor built, and built all the walls except the front doors. Then it both was getting late in the day and it started to rain...so much for Thursday. Friday was a no-show for him as he had to work. In some ways I was glad...spent the entire day resting!

Today my neighbor friend was called in to work, but will be here by 1:00 and we will tackle the doors, put up the front and back gables, the center gable, and put up the roofing. It has been a slow process, most of which I attribute to my slowness not his.

I need to get at least the coop buttoned up by the end of the day...my chicks who are now going on 6 weeks are way too big for their brooder and I have no where else to put them except the coop...aaaaaaaaaack!!
