Help! My baby quail keep dying!

Definitely check that feed! Mine are pretty well feathered at 2 weeks except the head (21 percent protein), a few feathers at that point is a sign of low protein and maybe too little energy (feed not supplying enough carbs and fat, using excessive energy for warmth or cooling, energy used to fight disease or heal, etc).

I honestly agree with poor nutrition. I give my quail at least 30% protein until at least 6 months of age and continue to feed them flock raiser feed.
