Help!!

Our 5 week old chick is injured. Honestly not sure what happened. My husband and I can only think that maybe she got stepped on by one of the kids.
what do I do??? Hernia?
What do I put on it?
I ran water over it and sprayed it with peroxide, and I gave her some sugar water. She wants to still be active. I have her still and alone right now under heat.
Please help me.
I feel aweful. We have raised and kept chickens for 5 years. I have done bumble foot surgeries and treated hawk attacks but never this. I am a nurse so what needs done? Will she make it?
Will the other chicken mess with her?

That looks really bad and in my opinion you should take her to the vet. I'm really sorry I can't help any more.

I’ve cleaned it, saturated it with prep H wipe hoping it will retract in if it is a hernia, and put antibiotic ointment on it. I tried to keep it covered but it’s an awkward spot to bandage and I think it would attract more curiosity from the others In the brooder anyway. I will try to keep it moist. Poor thing is exhausted. She is not really eating. With Covid-19 and being in a new area -unsure of an avian vet. This is horrible. I fear the worst. I will be doing a search for a vet in the area.
If anyone has any advice I will surely take it. Please?

I would spray it with blue kote to keep the others from pecking her. I have no advice on the actual injury, I am sorry!

I did not use blue coat. I need a fresh bottle for my first aide kit, but I thought it would sting. I have been keeping a close eye and the others have not been treating her any different or picking on her.

It’s been 2 days. I have been keeping up with cleaning it and using the prep H wipes to saturate then antibiotic ointment. There is no bleeding of the area at all now. They are getting electrolytes, vitamins and minerals in their water to supplement. She is doing well! The others have been leaving her alone and she is eating her crumble. I have been giving scrambled egg for added protein for healing. I am always amazed how resilient chickens can be.
Still yet, if anyone has any thoughts on this I am open to suggestions.
I will post another picture when I do her next wound care.

Wow honest to goodness it looks like her innards were squeezed out. I had a little peep that had her neck filleted and she survived. I am so glad you're bird recovered!

We still have no idea what happened to her! Our 3 year old snuck out to the baby pen and may have accidentally stepped on her? It’s a guess -and a mystery. I am so glad she is doing well.
