I can see why... those hackle feathers, especially in the 2nd photo, look pretty pointy. I might be wrong but I'm going to go against the grain and say late blooming cockerel.

I was thinking two cockerels, but I know nothing compared to many on here.

Also got burned myself thinking I had a pullet and she mounted and crowed on the morning they moved out.

How old? If you give an age then I would know more since I've raised buff orps.

If they hatched may this year, they should be laying. So I say cockerels. But some start laying very late in age.
