High humidity during hatch is this normal?

Is it normal for the humidity to sky rocket when they start hatching? It’s been 70 during lockdown and now after a few have hatched there’s condensation on the dome and it’s like 86

Higher humidity makes logical sense as the eggs crack but just wanted to make sure

Yes it’s normal, when a chick hatched the humidity does go up

completely normal. Inside the eggs it is 100% humidity, so when hatching begins all that moisture comes out.

Air vent all the way open

Totally normal and expected. It will drop down once the chicks start drying. Do not open the incubator at this time please to reduce risk of shrink wrapping.
