Homemade Duck Harness

Hello all!

I would love to take my Ducks on walks (or even camping with us) and my two follow quite well, however it is illegal to have "Ducks at large" so we were considering making a duck leash/harness.

We were thinking of two options- either a harness design out of shoe laces consisting of a hole for the head and butt with a strap connecting under the belly and between the wings. The holes would be secured as to prevent them from tightening.
Our other option would be maybe just a part of a sock as a "collar". Only worry with that is if it would disrupt them eating/drinking. It wouldn't be tight.

We aren't necessary worried about it being a secure leash, just one to look like our ducks are "attached" to us.

Any suggestions or pictures?

This is a harness I made for my hen, it is pretty rough but it works well. You could make one like it for your ducks.

Is the brown thread your leash or part of the harness?

It's twine, it is the leash. At the time, I didn't have a dog so I didn't have a leash. I just used twine instead.
