Hostess Twinkies to file BANKRUPYCY ???

Well, no wonder they are going bankrupt. Hubbo wanted one the other day, and I looked at the grocery store, and at the corner convenience store, and couldn' t find any.

If I could find the smilies, there would be an unhappy one here. Maybe even the smack one.

I don't think I have had a twinky, sno ball, ding dong etc since the 70's

I did have a package of mini doughnuts a month or so ago though, and I think they were hostess

They emerged from Chapter 11 2 years ago and have now filed for the same protection. I don't think our Twinkies and Ding Dongs and mini donuts are going anywhere.

They won't even slow down with the Twinkie making. They are debt-heavy and the courts are going to rearrange their debt, lower their payments, and cancel some of the debt. The company will still keep functioning.

Though it is beyond me why anyone would care. That's not even food. Cheap imitation Crisco and sugar inside of.... what is that stuff the fat and sugar are stuffed into? Whatever it is, all the preservatives don't prevent it from being stale.
