How do you get water out to your coop?

Pics
Currently there is a hose close enough to where my husband waters the cows that I can pull it over to the chicken coop to fill up the chicken waterer. In the future, we will be looking at installing gutters on the coop and putting in a very large rain barrel, so we can have a gravity fed watering system.

We just top off the 5 gallon bucket with a 1 gallon water pitcher.

My coop sits next to a 275 gal food grade tote which collects rainwater from the roof. Which then feeds the waterers for the chickens, ducks, and goats. Actually, that's the case with both the original raised hen house and the goat shed. They each have their own totes.

I can string 150' of hose together, but I prefer not to do so.

I have a 100ft garden hose.
That sounds excessive now that I've seen it in writing. :caf

Excessive? I call it a good start. We have multiple 100-foot-plus hoses coming off 3 of the 4 corners of the house (we were supposed to have 2 hose bibs on specific corners. The manufacturer put them on the wrong corners so we now have a hose bib on each corner at no extra charge.
