I'm in a similar situation and, after some agonizing, I went with this one from rugged ranch. It IS small and you only want 3 maximum. I'm using it only because I need a place to separate a pair while a hen is broody.

i heard you need something special for silkies. not sure what it is but i know it's not a typical coop. also i agree, i would hire somebody else to build it that you know or a local person or build it yourself. looks simple enough.
