Do you eat the duck eggs?

I'm not a huge egg eater, but I have eaten them before. They taste almost identical to chicken eggs. You wouldn't know the difference if you didn't know.

15. Some of the hens are over 2 years old and take a break most every week. That's OK with me. I don't mind feeding them as they have been good to me. I like lots of pets to entertain me.

We will gather eggs tomorrow. The girls have plenty of feed and water and I don't want to risk making this bug worse I have come down with. It's been a near constant drizzle and has been cool all day. Our ground gets slick because of the small amount of clay and wet grass mix. Certainly don't need another fall.

made egg noodles with duck eggs today. A great way to use them and beautiful golden noodles!

I did go out to the Legbar coop and bring in 8 blue eggs that are now in the incubator. I think I have 29 incubating now and hope to get 6 or more tomorrow to add to them. This is incubator B. Incubator A was set with 35 Legbar eggs a week ago. Trying for an Easter Sunday hatch with the eggs set today.
