How much SALT is to much in a chickens diet

You’re bigger than he is. I’m being serious here: you need to establish dominance in your relationship with this roo, no lovey-cooeys, or you will have a highly dangerous rooster on your hands here, and you’ll probably have to cull (kill) him to protect yourself and other family members in the future.

Roosters are gorgeous and fascinating, but THEY ARE NOT CUTE, AND THEY ARE NOT PETS. They are animals with their own personalities and needs, and you should treat them with respect as such.
Hes just a baby rn and I hatched him myself honestly hes just a stupid boy he literally stole a wick I was making from a cotton ball and age a tiny clump before I got it away from him and I can’t yet hold him upside down by his feet without fear of breaking them. Hes 7 weeks old

He's an indoor bird. She let him peck at food in her mouth to make "funny" TikTok videos.
She'll learn the hard way I suppose.
No I didn’t. He currently indoor and the video Was me showing people how he tries to steal it and I pushed him away in the video. And it’s flip not tick tock

Hes just a little idiot gremlin

But they change when hormones kick in. Adolescent cockerels change personalities completely. Maybe they settle down ok, maybe not.

They’re a very different species from humans. They aren’t even mammals, and they don’t make good pets, at least in the sense of being predictable. It’s a matter of mutual respect. If you’re too familiar, he will probably try to dominate you when hormones hit, and they can cause serious injuries with their beaks and spurs.

I urge you to read here about rooster behavior and how to prepare for and navigate what’s coming, for BOTH your sakes.

He is an adolescent i believe because 6 weeks is when they start getting their adult voice and they are adults at age 18 weeks. Plus he likes sleeping against my belly and neck and won’t settle down to sleep unless I tuck him under a blanket. Otherwise he just screams
