So, what is the best way to recognize and avoid being scammed when you are looking to purchase poultry from someone reputable? Facebook just freaked me out a bit.

I don't buy birds, or eggs from Facebook(Never actually bought through Facebook), unless I know the seller/Breeder, I know one who sells Asils that's also on Ebay. Planning in buying from him once I start getting good money again.

From what I've heard/seen, Facebook chicken/poultry scammers often have the word Farm/Farms in their user name.

But that doesn't mean all with Farm/Farms are all scammers though, but will make deciphering real from fake harder.

Thank you for your reply. I think I will give Facebook a wide berth. I am just not sufficiently knowledgeable to sort out the good from the bad.
