I had a gamefowl egg hatch out today. Thing is, I just noticed he has splayed leg. How can I help him?

I used medical gauze. Like the one for bloodwork. Just unsure how long it’ll take to heal.Have you tried using a band aid to hobble it?
Not sure how long it'll take to heal, but don't worry, this sort of thing is common and pple will be here to help shortlyI used medical gauze. Like the one for bloodwork. Just unsure how long it’ll take to heal.

Good news! His splayed leg healed up! Bad news, he has something attached to his butt that is really dry. It’s been there since he was born. He’s two days old today. Not sure what to do about it (see first pic)Not sure how long it'll take to heal, but don't worry, this sort of thing is common and pple will be here to help shortly![]()
I think you should just leave it there, don't tug on it. It should fall off. Just make sure its not poopy butt or something. I'm glad the splayed leg is better!!Good news! His splayed leg healed up!
