That's a bit low on the hen ratio, but that isn't a hard and fast rule.In the aviary they are in there is 1 male and 3 females. The fruits, veggies, and mealworms are kind of like a snack to them. They have their own food along with the snacks that they can eat. No predators hanging around. They are squirrels but they don't come that often. The male hasn't started mating the females which I'm not sure is normal or not. I don't think they would be stressed out. They are quite friendly to me and will eat out of my hand, and the chickens that I have are far away on another side of the property. Though they can hear them..
When you say snacks, do you mean 10% or less of their diet?
You didn't answer the light question, but they do need at least 14 hours of light per day to lay consistently, preferably around 16 hours.
