Yes, it's another post about my sickly legbar pullet. She seems to have bounced back and is behaving normally now, but she has lost quite a bit of weight. Her keel is very prominent and I would appreciate any advice on how to get her back to a healthy weight without also increasing her intra-abdominal fat. I suspect her issues are reproductive and I know excess abdominal fat compounds problems like internal laying.
we are currently feeding an all flock pellet with 18% protein, free choice oyster shell on the side. They also get garden/kitchen scraps a few times a week (lately it's been mostly peppers, pumpkin, and pumpkin/squash guts). I have also been giving this pullet scrambled eggs, she's had about one egg a day this week.
