I'm starting my new coop build on Thursday, and I think I have most of the design details worked out, except for this: I'm using Ondura corrugated roofing on both the coop and the covered run. How can I predator-proof this junction where they meet? We have racoons. The run and all openings/vents will be covered with 1/2" hardware cloth. The roofing brand makes "closure strips" but using these would add a cost of $100 to the coop.
Here is the roofing material: https://ondura.com/projects/shed-roofing-materials.shtml
And here is one easy but expensive solution: https://kent.ca/ondura-44-x-1-x-1-black-solid-closure-strip-4-pieces1016915
And here is a rough idea of my coop plans coop is 4x8ft, with a mini run underneath and a 6x8 covered run behind.
Thanks!
