Hello Guys
I have some goose eggs in an incubator but there is a smell coming from at least one of them.

How do I know which one is causing the smell? Is it like chicken eggs (the float or sink thing).

We are going to candle them to see if we can see any veins but they have only been in for 4 days.

Dont want any to explode on us in the incubator.

Any help would be brilliant.

Thanks

Just finished candling.

3 looking good and definately something in there. Alot with just the yoke floating around and one that was completely black under the torch and had a very unpleasant smell to it.

Now disposed of very gently!

Thanks for the info.

Take the eggs out one by one and smell them. The rotten one will for sure let you know it is bad. The other will not have that rotten smell. Get it out of the incubator as soon as you can so bacteria does not get in the incubator from the rotten one.
