Current surge projections from NHC. I screen-capped from Tampa down to Cape Coral. Keep in mind these are only projections. Until it hits there's no way to be certain. If you can't get out, make sure you have a hatchet or a battery powered saw of some kind and if you have to flee to your attic, TAKE IT WITH YOU. You may have to cut your way out. have some kind of flotation device too just in case.

Be prepared for the worst and hope for the best, gang.

And have they changed the time it is projected to hit land? The last update I got was earlier this morning.
Still looks like weds night is as specific as they're getting. Storm winds above hurricane force will pick up along the west coast of FL tomorrow midmorning it looks like. With the EWRC done he hasn't weakened all that much and they're watching to see if he intensifies today.

Most recent (1pm central).

Milton is a cat 4 currently, so it's down on intensity slightly pressure is back over 900mb too which also shows it has slightly weakened. Veering east-northeast, which may mean Tampa is a direct strike vs slightly south.
Hurricane force winds in a 70 mile radius, trop. storm out to 105 radius. Landfall still predicted weds night.

Halfway down that advisory is a section titled "HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND" which has surge estimates.
