I am looking for poultry shows in VA! Also looking for Poultry Swaps.

It is SO difficult to find any poultry shows in VA! I bought some show-quality bantam Cochins and don't have anywhere to show them. I am also interested in finding a local poultry swap to go to. Can anybody help me out?

Where are you located? There is a swap scheduled for July 21 in Clearbrook VA (just north of Winchester off Rt 81); there is a swap every month at the Agusta Expo, not sure of the dates but you can google it. A lot of the TSC's have swaps, you should be able to find them on this thread. Hope to see you at some soon.

Thank you for the info! I am located in Buckingham so that would a 3 hr drive. Thats a little farther than I would like to go. But I still might go one day. I will definately be traveling to one of the poultry swaps at the TSC. Thanks again for the information!

Never mind...I just looked on the website and its only 1 hr. 30 minutes from the Fisherville, VA one. Is that the one your talking about?

How far is this from va beach? what r the times and do u get a crowd there,who is in charge? thx

Well, it is 3 hrs or so from VA Beach. I have never been to this swap before so I can't tell you much. I found the info on My Pet Chickens of Virginia if that helps. I think it will probaly start around 8 and end around 12. Thats what I am guessing.

They also have a poultry swap in Charlottesville @ TSC.
