I hope so too, she’s starting to preen herself normallyAww glad the wry neck baby is okay today! I hope she continues to get better!
What a great sling you have made for her! So glad she is making progress!Today she’s able to reach her toes with a straight neck though she still rests in a crooked position
Thanks it took sooo many tries to get it rightWhat a great sling you have made for her! So glad she is making progress!
Did you mark the eggs she is sitting on? It can be helpful in case someone else lays eggs in that nest. I am having that situation right now.I’ve noticed some of my older hens going broody and I decided to let one sit on the eggs to see what happens
I want to test out the genetics of my white barred cockerel out of curiosity, he is the only one mature enough to try and mount the hens yet
none of my hens have ever hatched eggs before so I’m also testing their mothering skills
I’m only setting a couple eggs to see if anything develops and just letting the natural process happen
Any advice for keeping hens broody?
