She's good! We just got back from a trip to TSC and Petco and she picked out a toy and some chews. Which she is currently trying to 'bury' in my bed, lol.

I hadn't ever let Pixel totally off-lead before, but yesterday I was replacing the emu fencing and moving a chicken coop and decided to trust her and let her be loose.

She did great! Never went far, came back every time I called her. I think she'll be allowed loose on the farm now.

The other day the geese were out and I needed them in, and they know when I start walking at them what I want so they kind of just do it, lol. After ten years Lacie has it pretty much down and the other geese follow her. Pixel went running at them and they moved and then filed into the run and I shut the gate and she was SO proud of herself, lol. Even though the geese did it themselves, haha.

But today I had to herd some loose chickens back into their run. Pixel was....enthusiastic, but not much help, lol. I mean, she did help me get them out of the woods, at least. But then I had to put her in the car because she started just kind of running at them willy nilly and that wasn't helpful.

She really WANTS to move the birds, she just doesn't know what she's doing. I think I will get her in herding classes next spring. She seems like she could do it.

Sounds like shes doing great! Your probably a little disappointed since she isnt pure, but she seems like a great dog. I dont like when breeders lie or they dont test the parents before breeding. My backdoor neighbor has a MAS and shes cute ive never actually met her dog but i know her.

She was actually really helpful today! A rooster got out and I needed to catch him and she chased him into a corner where I was standing and I nabbed him. Don't think she necessarily MEANT to chase him to me but hey, it worked, lol.

Im sorry about that, isnt there a test you can do to see if her back is good? Im going to be doing a embark test on my golden retriever, did your embark test do all the genetics, breed, family history?

She even had a birthday party at a local pet store where I've become friendly with the owner, and her dog friends came and they all had a good time.
