I trained my chicken!

Training my chicken started off as a project for my dog blog, but ended up taking on a life of its own. We got permission to compete her with "Do More With Your Dog" and completed it! I'm very proud of her. Here's a video of her doing all the tricks if you want to see!

How much time did you need to learn Sylvia all these tricks?

Anyway chickens are way more clever as many people think they are. And easy to train with yummie feed. I trained mine to come to the coop after free ranging when I come with treats and make noises /clap my hands.

It took about 6 months all total. Teaching the difference between "over" and "under" the jump was the hardest part. It's much, much easier to teach them hand signals than verbal cues.
