I noticed that in the senior people, they are very well dressed, and polite. Looking at them so properly and nicely dress and so gentle in manner make me feel all is well, everything is in order. My mother grew up in the 40s. If she went out -- anywhere -- she wore stockings, gloves, a hat, a dress, and heels.

Being of Italian descent my dad didn't go anywhere to include checking the mail without being dressed. Always at least dress pants, belt, dress shirt and shoes and combed hair. The amount of jewelry was dependent on where he was going and I don't think he owned jeans or any other t shirt other than under shirts. I like dressing up but don't really go many places to warrant it. My daily is just under shirt and hair gel. I usually use a polo shirt and pants. Shoes optional if at home.Being of Italian descent my dad didn't go anywhere to include checking the mail without being dressed. That is just the normal things with the older generation, be respectful, proper, orderly.
