So, do you remember when there were only a few brands of televisions to choose from and you went to the local appliance store to choose one? RCA, Philco, Motorola are the three that come to mind for me.

We have an Amazon surplus or something or nother store that opened in this area. That's how it is.
The guy working there said if I needed to he could price check things for me.
Just for the hell of it I had him price checking a hundred things. Stuff I didn't even have any interest in. It entertained me but I'm easily entertained.
Never been back to it though.

I remember when the first touch screen desktop came out. I immediately went into debt for it and almost as fast hated it. I do like my smart tvs though so easy since I just roku. I don't really watch alot of TV but it's there. Just some news and documentaries that's about it.
Internet and phone for 55 a month couldn't pass it up

I was prepared to respond with a smart ass comment about you having to just deal with technology and to get over it. Then I kept scrolling. I don't ever shop at Macy's but any store that can't display their prices will not get my business. This will probably continue until lots of people complain

Same here. If I have to download their crapp onto my phone... uh, no. My chiropractor just texted me a link to their app. I'm not going to download it, and I will very politely tell them "I just don't do those things." They are very very nice, so I don't think it'll be an issue.

Oh yes, we just moved out of a storage unit and management told us we had to go online to check out of it! Never mind that there is an actual facility on site with a real live lady who can check us out (which she did).
