No because I'm allergic to everything that grows here. Allergens all over my clean, wet clothes would be a Very Bad Idea.

I did in Arizona as recently as 2010. By the time I got it all hung out I could go back and start taking it down and it would be dry.

Yep. Single digit humidity = clothes dry in just a few minutes. You start at one end and by the time you've reached the other end you can go back to the first end and start taking everything down. Very handy for those who can hang stuff outside.

Used to be, back in the fifties and sixties. Then they imported a lot of foreign vegetation and used too much water so now it's all kinds of dry, crispy native and non-native vegetation. Nasty for anyone with allergies. I got immunology shots for years and I still have problems with them.

They kick up my asthma something fierce! Back home in coastal California I rarely even used a rescue inhaler. Here I'm on a nebulizer solution three times a day.

Nah. I was ten, she was 90. I have no idea how old he would have been at the time. His show was something my folks watched. He always seemed about 90 to me.

You'd think! Twenty-five years and my tolerance for allergens and the extreme high temps keeps getting worse. My northern European coastal genes do not belong in a desert. It might have something to do with aging, too.
