I didn't know A & P was that big a company. I thought it was just regional. Were you in Alabama back then?I'm so old I remember when I ground coffee beans every Friday night and Saturday for the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company.
Reminds me of our Radio Shack walkie-talkies my brother, sister and I had. The frustrating thing was there were only 2 in the set.I'm remembering people talking on phones as large as half a shoe box with an antenna sticking out one end.
Try not to hold it against me too much.Well that’s some serious self control.
The old you get the less self control matters, IMO.Try not to hold it against me too much.
That was in my youth. I spent most of my twenties trying to correct bad behaviors. Having self control hardly happens nowadays.
I'll use a straw in the vehicle. Other than that I drink like an adult and don't need a sippy cup.Same here. I never use ‘sissy sticks’ to drink. However, playing with them is A-OK!
I suppose potatoes are one of my favorite foods as I enjoy them in so many different ways. Then there's Pringles. Don't love 'em. Don't hate 'em. Don't buy 'em.Could anyone really ever eat a partial can?
Sounds like we could been great besties if we grew up near each other.I'm so old, I remember using my imagination and creativity to make my own toys.
A willow branch made me a stagecoach driver, or maybe a cowboy rounding up a herd of cattle.
A crochet hook and some solder for bits made decorative halters and bridles for my model horses. (My mother gave me some crocheted squares for saddle blankets. I was a tomboy, and couldn't bo bothered with learning more than a chain stitch!)
Yeah, they were up here in the mid-Atlantic back then.I didn't know A & P was that big a company. I thought it was just regional. Were you in Alabama back then?
