The PlayDoh came in metal tins but with a plastic top I think.
Remember the PlayDoh smell?

Always hated that smell. It made me sick. When my son was little, he loved playdoh but he had to play it outside because of the smell

If I remember correctly these were cardboard cylinders but it also came in metal cans. Note the Captain Kangaroo marketing tie-in.

We used to have one. My mom was a confectionist. Made wedding cakes and candy. And was a seamstress known for her christening gowns. I could probably still use a smock gathering machine

Anymore I just scoop flour into a measuring cup with a spoon and level off.

She had a big curio looking thing. One side was all candy melts, and the other side was full of bottles of alcohol. (She cooked and made cakes and stuff with alcohol
One time I got to hold the rumballs to our family Christmas party one year and was tore up by the time we got there. Rumballs you don't cook the alcohol off
