I'm so old I Remember when:

Interesting that you bothered to correct someone else's post but made mistakes in yours
? I dont get this.
Thought I bothered to correct my own post when I realised something spooky happened while colouring my hair. True I didn’t realise my mistake until after the response.

Subtleties are difficult 😞 in a foreign language (sigh).

:hugs no worries. You manage English far better - infinitely better! than I would manage Dutch!

always said that when my hair went completely grey I would add a purple streak.
Unfortunately it remains stubbornly dull mouse brown except at the front.
Why wait if you want it now?
Mouse brown with grey and a purple streak sounds wonderfully colourful.
And if you prefer completely grey with one ore more purple streaks this is an option too.

Somehow this reminded me me watching an English comedy with Hyacinth (Bouquet) Bucket. Thought she had pink hair in one of the episodes. But I cant find it online.
Now Im starting to doubt my own hard drive /grey cells.
Im so old my memory gets mixed with fantasy.

The front and top of my hair is now snow white. I've been thinking about a turquoise streak ...maybe turquoise and pink. Not screaming, just something small and subtle. but I shy away from anything that smacks of vanity ...

Opinions?
No opinions , just ideas https://www.wiewathaar.nl/22-x-haar-met-kleur/

Maybe make some brown highlights in the front and grey highlights in the back to start with? If this is too dull for you , add a few strings with purple or blue.

It's hair and easily changed if you decide you don't like it. Give it a try.

I love KUA! If you're a fan of Dame Patricia Routledge (who's still with us at age 95) you might like her in "A Woman of No Importance" (1982). It's rather melancholy but she is excellent.

True. When my kids were under 18 and still living under my rules, one way I let them express themselves was they were allowed to style and color their hair however they wanted. Thanks to Spencer's Gifts, we had temporary flirtations with hot pink, deep blue, turquoise, and the year we went to the big St Patrick's parade in NYC, shamrock green. Hair grows out.

Sounds like my hair. If/when it's all grey, I'd like to do purple. Or my favorite pair, purple and turquoise.

I worked with several young women who dyed their hair green, pink, turquoise, blue, etc. I know what they had to do to their hair to do that: Strip all the natural color out, since you can't dye pink over nearly black, in one girl's case.

Not sure I want to subject my old hair to that. Yeah it grows out, but mine grows slowly.
