Crowing
Well, it was about the same time period, apparently. I don't remember much. I remembered the "eyes," and part of it was in absolute darkness, with spider webs and ick slapping at your face. It was a trick-or-treat thing, and the candy was at the end.We used the spaghetti (in veg oil for extra ick) for guts and a steamed head of cauliflower for the brain. The grapes were ato peel but it absolutely makes all the difference. We also had a jello liver (decrease the water when making) and cleaned and dried chicken bones. I'm sure there were more body parts but it was more than half a century ago.
At ours, after going through the maze we all sat on folding chairs in a circle and there was a story as the 'body parts' were passed around.
I've seen others where the parts were inside boxes and you'd put your hand through a hole cut in the side as you went through the maze.
How was yours set up?
It was a maze, if a simple one, sized to fit in their garage.
I did the haunted woods for a few years, and that was fun. Everybody had a script, but sometimes actors wouldn't show and they tucked me in those roles and I got to ad-lib.
