Chickens but I don't know the particular type. We have some brown, yellowish and blue eggs. It was from a nearby ranch
I'd just leave them be for now. What species are your hatching?
At 23 days they're overdo to hatch. Have you had any hatch or pip already? Are you using a separate calibrated thermometer/hygrometer to check the temp and humidity? I would briefly candle and see if you can spot movement or active veining in the eggs. Feel free to post pictures if you aren't sure what you're looking at.Chickens but I don't know the particular type. We have some brown, yellowish and blue eggs. It was from a nearby ranch
No. When they are in a nest under a broody hen they are touching. They are fine touching. On day 23 I moved my incubator and the eggs rolled together touching. Should I open incubator and separate them quickly so they have ventilation and room to hatch?
Yes we are hoping they are just late as the first two days the heat was a bit low. We are using the incubators numbers only. We did candle on day 15 and many look like they grew. I guess we will know in the next two days. 4 are moving. At 23 days they're overdo to hatch. Have you had any hatch or pip already?
