I saw the news story of the man who died hiking with his family on Camelback Mountain a few days ago when we had all those record-breaking highs.

Why why why do people go hiking in those temps?? Sometimes it's an out of towner like a snowbird or a tourist who simply doesn't understand the danger but locals ought to know better. It's a completely unnecessary death. Very, very sad. /rant

Ignorance
Incompetence.

Take your pick. Those trails are signed with warnings. We have news pieces almost daily about it. And still people get hurt and die constantly.
