Incubated Eggs upside down

Just wanted to update everyone, I ended up with 10 chicks and 4 quail. I had to help them all out as not a single one could make it out on their own but the ones that made it are continuing to do fantastic!

Thank you so much! I have another 38 eggs in the incubator the right way this time! So hopefully this is a much better experience!
I had to assist one chick as it had a huge saddle cell from shipping and she was upside down in the shell. I realised by when she pipped at the wrong end. It wasn’t nerve wracking and she is a little smaller but she’s perfect. I can’t imagine the nerve involved but I truly can imagine you’re relief at saving so many. I had settled my eggs the wrong way round at first as I think that’s how’ve I normally find them in the egg box. It’s an easy mistake. I hope you can enjoy the next hatch. I certainly found my second one more enjoyable when I had more of an idea what I was doing.

Your right it was very nerve wracking and time consuming! I’m glad your little chick came out good!
