Hi - I've had a good look through posts on here, so apologies if this has been covered, but I have a 3 yr runner duck with an injured leg. She started limping about a week ago, and it got progressively worse so she has been crated for the last 4 days so she can rest and not be bothered by the boys.
She is not putting any weight on it and it appears swollen on her hock and swelling on the back of her leg going up from the hock.
I've tried to feel gently for a break, but can't feel anything obvious.
It doesn't seem to be getting any better, she still can't seem to put any weight on it unless she really has to. She is still eating and drinking. She has also laid a couple of times, even though I've told her she can take a break from that for now
Not sure if it is just a sprain or a slipped tendon.
Any advice appreciated, we don't have access to a bird vet or antibiotics.
