Kenny Troiano is a master breeder and you can read about him in the Breeders Academy. He's got podcasts on YouTube where maybe that's brought up but in searching, nothing is found. Perhaps he's got a chicken breed named after him. @MysteryChicken might know something on this.

Kenny Troiano is a guy who charges $50 a month to be a member of his webpage. Claims to be a master breeder and that everyone is ignorant if they don't do things the way "he" suggests. However guy can hardly even keep chickens where he lives. Seriously. Listen to poultry keepers 360 or other chicken podcasts.

I love PK360 and Poultry Nerds as well as their spin off groups for nutrition and Bresse. But I have listened to Kenny's YT channel and wish he offered more affordable programs but would love to hear why I shouldn't join as well. I've always had an eye brow raised bc of his prices and mentality with his podcast and wasting an hr of viewers time spinning wheels to only "give real info on the backside hr"?

You get it then. I listened for a while then it all just got really annoying. He's kinda stuck up and the whole podcast is just a plug for his website. There are a lot better things to listen to as far as genetics and general information. The "he cant hardly keep chickens" comment, it's just what I think. His wife said they live in Ramona California, that's in San Diego county. Pretty sure that limits how many chickens he can have in general as well as how many roosters he can have....that being said alot of what he preaches must be pretty hard for him to follow.... ... If he doesn't have but 20-30 fowl over there kinda makes the whole no medication is the only way opinion irrelevant and misleading right? He can definitely get away with not medicating. He's probably not free ranging so there goes natural selection. If he can only raise but so many how is he getting the numbers he claims one needs to select from? Im not sure. It bothers me though.
