I got 15 “hens” from a hatchery. I’ve noticed my little wheaten olive egger, Emmy Lou had developed a bigger and deeper red comb than the others, she also walks more “aggressive” sticking her neck out, and has green feathers on her wings

and tail. This morning I thought I heard one of my chicks trying to crow. They were two months old Sept 23. Is it too early to tell? Or is my little Emmy Lou really a Conway Tweety boy?
If he is a rooster, what do I need to know so he’s friendly to me?

I don’t know that there is really anything you can do, other then spend time with him. I’ve never had a rooster be aggressive with me, even though they attacked every other human they met. I probably partly got lucky, but I believe it had to do with the fact that I hand raised them and spent a ton of time with them. But I know plenty of people who have hand raised their roosters and spent a ton of time with them, and it didn’t help.
