So I love having papers to keep track of who’s who and who’s father of who and what not so I was curious if there’s a registry association for chickens kinda like American Boer goat association but for chickens?

(Please don’t come at me I realize not everyone is a fan of registering stock or birds and would like to keep it that way like I said I just enjoy it because it’s easy to keep track of who’s who and who came from what hatch if it’s possible)

I understand the desire, coming from horses. It's not so much about the association, the shows, etc. but the greater understanding of traits that may have been passed down, or may be carried quietly.

I made my own breeding book using software I use for writing.
It's not hard to track parentage if you use only one roo in the flock at a time, with a minimum of 3 weeks after changing roos.
Identify the eggs of each hen and give the chicks leg bands at hatch.
Recently I had enough new layers that made progress in the egg color department that I had trouble knowing who laid what egg.
Ok, so for the uncertain chicks, I took a picture of the egg, wrote a full description of it, and assigned a letter. Now each chick will have that letter until I figure out who is laying the egg. I've made a little progress in that department, but I need to get a nest cammera 😅
