I took these today because I was seeing hints of greenish colour. These aren't the best because I wasn’t aiming to take photos of the saddle area but it’s the best I have currently. Pepper doesn’t stand tall like a rooster, although not sure at this age they would?

Malines look similar to your bird.

I just looked those up and your right it probably has some maline in her certainly because she has some feathers on her( hoping it’s a she) legs a bit. Thanks for mentioning that, I never heard of them.

Here are some updates on our pepper who people seem to think can be either male or female. I noticed a lot of colour now coming in. I know hens have saddle feathers that are more Rounded and not pointy , would these fall under that catégorie or are these coqueral like feathering?
