2 Barred Rocks… Hen or Roo?

Hi there everyone! I’m new to the forum and new to chicken-tending. I got 2 Barred Rock chicks about 4 weeks ago. I was hoping for hens but I’m worried at least one of them may be a rooster based on what I’ve read about the visible differences between Barred Rock hens and roosters. I’ve attached some photos... The lighter one is Bonnie and the darker one is Kevin. I am worried that perhaps Kevin is a Bonnie and Bonnie is a Kevin. What do you guys think?

This means males have two white bars to every black bar.

I'm jumping in on this thread as I'm hoping both of these BR are pullets. Though the picture is not the greatest, it does show the color. They will be 5 weeks tomorrow and compared to the 2 from last year about the same age, look the same color pattern. One was supposed to be a Blk Star.

Their legs look whitish rather than yellow, so I think they *might be* cuckoo Marans. If they are a pure barred breed, then you have 2 pullets regardless.

Thank you. I took another picture of the legs as the camera did make them look lighter instead of yellow with a little grey wash.

Yeah, I see the yellow not. I think these are both barred rock pullets.
