I've been looking at all these threads to help figure out out, lol. I think it may be a little early, but we're worries one of our pullets, well, isn't! They're 3 weeks today.(pictures are from last week) This one was slightly bigger than the other 2 RIRs. Fluff is a little lighter, tail roughly the same, but the comb is a little bigger. Thanks to you all, I have some signs to watch for a they grow but if it is, we will need to find a different home so want to do that earlier than later. Thanks for any help!

I would watch that one, looking like it is possibly male at this point but a couple more weeks would tell you for sure. It might be better to keep “him” (if he does end up being a boy) until they are coop ready - you will likely have a much easier time finding a new home for him at that point.

Ok, typically I find the roosters tend to be more rambunctious and aggressive, (not aggressive but like more easily provoked?) but it is not fool proof.

Yes, it's a little more skittish of me. It doesn't really let me pet it. Watching it with the others, it acts very similar.
It does depend on the individual, but most of the boys that I have are more bold and brave than the girls. They are usually the first ones to run to my hand. So it could possibly be a good sign if the chick is skittish.

Braveness isn't always a sign. I've had plenty of skittish cockerel chicks, & brave pullet chicks.
