Soooo my mom was about to cook some eggs for breakfast. When she open one she freaks out and this came out of the egg?? I have never ever seen something like this before inside an egg and I am worried is tape worms? My chickens are healthy and acting normal. Please help. I have only seen some droppings with some fomy mustered like colour. Only one or 2 chickens. I have around 25 in total.

In warm and tropical weather, that can be a good time to either worm your chickens or take in some collected and combined droppings to your vet for a fecal float. Call ahead to see if they will do one without seeing the chicken. Most wormers have an egg withdrawal time. Some of the ones that treat only roundworms do not have an egg withdrawal time.

Thanks for the info! I am wondering why is this big this particular time:( and when should I deworm my chickens. I am on the side that if I don’t see worms I don’t use deworming. Or should I deworm regardless?
Why would worms leave their host when they're nice and cozy slowly sucking the life out of the host? Same for dogs and cats.
Worm your birds, you wont regret it.
