Is this chick wheaten? How did this happen?

Why would she need Columbian to produce yellow chicks when crossed with a wheaten carrier? I see no Columbian on her.
My Sister's Easter Egger Hen doesn't look like a Columbian carrier, but produced a Columbian chick one time. Chick was solid blue, but feathered out gold Columbian.

Wheaten Based Light Brahma.
Solid Pale yellow chick.

Columbian can be Based on partridge, & Duckwing in some cases as well on other breeds.
She's been an anomaly since hatch, she does have that vorwerk/lakenvelder look to her now, although her tail and wing feathers are blue/gray, her face feathers as well and her underside is buff(maybe cream color is more descriptive). Her head and neck feathered in black as a chick, now neck feathering does appear black, very dark but not quite black with some bright yellow and some gold. She confuses me.

From what I've read, the original Columbian pattern was wheaten based.

Edit to add: I think it was here

That is interesting, I didn't know the original light Brahmas were wheaten based. @KF0002 check out this article, it talks about wheaten vs. duckwing male differences.
I do wonder about the accuracy of the article though. It said Barnevelders are wheaten based and I am certain they are not, I mean, look at the chicks.

I don't believe the solid yellow chick in the first post is columbian though. It looks exactly how my wheaten Ameraucanas feathered out. The wing feathers are too dark. I think it's a male.

I think it's a male too. I'll grab a photo today, shoulder feathers are starting to come in.
