I haven’t seen any internal pipping no. And no, its a mix. But definetly no muscovy bc one hatched.
It is not unusual for them to take a bit of time to hatch and take 30 days to hatch. Since it was moving there is a good chance it is still alive and just can't internally pip for one reason or another.

I would take a look at the assisted hatching info if you haven't.

Have all your other eggs made progress? If they have all external pipped, I would do a safety hole tonight if there is no progress.

One of the eggs has hatched and there was one other besides this one. I am concerned it may not make it, it has been going backwards and almost seems to have not fully formed.

I am newer to duck raising, so my apologies if I ask a lot of questions!

I have definitely assisted to early before and still was able to get it hatched. I have seen them hatch a day or two apart even when they started incubating at the same time. If your gut tells you to open it, then you may want to. If you do go ahead with it, only open the shell slightly in the air cell to see what is going on. If there is veins on the internal sack, stop there.

Hatching can be quite a challenge with ducks. There are a lot of variables that go into it.
