Hello! Today I candled my five turkey eggs, four of them were clearly moving and alive but this one I am not so sure? Is it a quitter or is it just taking a bit longer than the rest? It was laid on Feb 9 and put in the incubator on Feb 11. TIA!

They were all put in on the same day. And yes it does have veins.
It may just be a slow developer. One thing I didn’t realize about my incubator is the thermostat is not reliable. Any time I hatch eggs I put in a digital thermometer with humidity gauge. I had a couple eggs start developing and then died. I found out the uneven temp and humidity caused it.

We did just buy a thermometer and hygrometer because I didn’t trust the incubator. So I know the humidity and temp is correct.
