Yeah Im a gamer so I’m used to using all these words, I’m like the teenage boy hobbies all in one package, I fish, I raise poultry, I’m in FFA, I game, and I own reptiles

Yep, it's all here. I listened- to a few dog training-related pod-casters who jumped on Discord when it first started, but I soon tired of chasing these ppl across various platforms.

I just learned not to join poultry keeper discord servers because I got flamed for having a part time livestock gaurdian dog and full time livestock guardian cats, apparently no other species can live with chickens, I need to immediately shower and completely sanitize all my clothes immediately after coming across chickens and they think they are better advisers than y’all that have owned chickens for decades because they are vets

Oh my god I was also in the backyard poultry keepers discord server and the people there are so extremely rude! If you don’t do it their way they don’t want to hear it and like shame you into doing it their way or by their “best practice guidelines”. I got flamed for saying I use puppy pads in my brooder during the first week- I also said I stagger hatch and have chicks hatching everyday and got a response saying they don’t understand why I would do that when fertile eggs can be stored for 10 days which I then said I will do what works best for me. The majority of that community are narcissists and think their way is the ONLY way.
