Any one know how to get your chickens to stop eating dog food

Buy bigger chunks....?

My chickens do not care for the dog food and most won't eat the cat food. My friends see the dog food sitting on the table for the LGD and ask how I keep them out of it. They don't want it. Too much else for them to eat that tastes better.
I do have a few hens though that like cat food.

We have an outdoor dog and he has a huge dog feeder on the back porch that has a metal door that the dog is "supposed" to push open and eat food when he wants it..well our dog is scared to death of the door, so we have to leave a stick in the feeder to make the door stay open. Well the chickens figured out that they could eat his food during the day while free ranging, so Milo ( the dog ) started guarding his food 24/7 and was snapping at the chickens, that wasn't gonna work!

So....we leave the door shut during the day and when I lock up the chickens at night, we feed the dog then.

But...the chickens are smart and figured out they can peck and the door will open and they can eat the food!

So we either bring the feeder inside during the day, or turn it around so they can't get to the door.

I would start feeding your dog only early in the morning, before you let your chickens out, or at night, after you lock them up.
