Knox County (Knoxville TN) Chickens?

Anyone know if what restrictions Knox County places on owning Chickens?

the law is no more than 6 hens no roosters,kept as pets and for eggs only, for knox city you need to go through animal control and apply for a pet chk license. i live in knox co not the city thank goodness

Does anyone know where I can find a list of people who will foster chickens in Knox county?

What do you mean by "foster" chickens? We have several 13 to be exact and a few ducks they are all for eggs though until they get older then freezer for chicken and dumplins..........
