Hi, I know the comb and wattles are a bit large, but I read somewhere that leghorn grow them quickly. She’s about 8 weeks old.

Ya, female leghorns don't really get big combs until close to laying age.
Maybe a little bigger then other breeds but idk why people keep spreading the nonsense about them getting huge combs early on.
Me neither! It confuses us with little sexing know how. Are you familiar with leghorn roosters? Do you know if they’re friendly? Well not friendly exactly but non aggressive?

I probably have 75 of them give or take and have raised a few hundred others.
I've never had an aggressive one. I don't raise mine to be buddies with though. I don't hand feed them or cuddle with them or anything like that.

Oh wow!! No I don’t cuddle my roosters either, they take their job too seriously for that. But I’m not attacked by them either. They just kind of chicken around. As long as he doesn’t attack people I.e me, he’s a keeper. Thanks again!

My leghorns have always been more skittish than other breeds.
The few roosters we tried to keep were aggressive with us. And we have raised both the WL and the BL.
