Alright, thanks guys! She definitely has been a lot more excitable, then also tired, and distracted, so it's encouraging to know that it's probably because of her heat and nothing I'm doing wrong.

How is everyone else's dogs doing? Pictures?

Brewster is good. We’ve been trying to walk at least once a day if not twice. We’ve been doing pretty good with it. Today was twice. Squirrels are our arch nemesis though LOL

Great to see Bridgette again! She's grown so much and is beautiful!

Dorie is doing great. She has recovered well from her patella injury and is back to playing fetch and running figure eights. She seems to have more energy and be happier lately.

Luna has been okay. She's happy and playful but I'm worried her hips are causing her problems. We have a vet appointment coming up so hopefully we'll find out exactly what's going on.

She's doing pretty well! She LOVES people and other dogs so much, which might make service dog training a little tricky, so that's something I'm working on with her. She has some good training now though, as far as manners, but she's obviously still a puppy.

This morning though she went in to heat...

I didn't realize it'd be so soon, but she's 10.5 months now so I guess it makes sense. Any tips? We just ordered some diapers for her. View attachment 3944484View attachment 3944485View attachment 3944486

Our dog went into heat a little younger than your girl. Diapers are definitely great! Just make sure to change them frequently. Our dog was very good about keeping them on, and didn't seem to mind them much at all. We spayed her at 1 year because she was getting out of the house to look for boys, so we only saw her in heat once.

She is looking absolutely gorgeous! I was still imagining her as looking like the pup in your profile. She looks like she has a permanent smile on her face. <3

This was Sable today, with her ears turned inside out and her face covered in cobwebs. She looked like a Halloween decoration!
This is her doing what she does... Yep, that's a rabbit. She's lithe enough to be able to catch them. Our last dog was faster, but couldn't turn as well.

Last but not least, this is when she realized she was about to get her first bath.

Its been busy here

Pikelet recently got diagnosed with hip dysplasia. So lots more appointments for her

Fanta has regressed a little bit with her training. I am hoping its just her season but it still need to find more time to train her

Pepsi is making slow progress with her reactivity. She has proven a few times, if she just calmed down, she would be an amazing guide dog

We had some dying trees cut down and the people left a pile of woodchips in the 'dog run'. Bridgette thought I giant pile of wood and sticks was the best thing ever!

First bath in a LONG time went well! Surprisingly she didn't try to go on an escapade
Maybe her figuring out that she loves swimming helped.
